Repair – The backbone of our business is camera and lens repair. We have been in the repair business for 25 years now. If you have a question about a repair feel free to stop by the store with the equipment and we will look at it for you.

Olympus OMD – Service Notice. Some of the Olympus OMD mirrorless cameras are having a problem with the internal strap screws loosening up and or falling out. Once the screws are loose they can move around internally in the camera causing damage to any number of camera systems.

Rokinon – Bower – Samyang Repair – As you may know… Rokinon, Bower, and Samyang products are all produced by the same manufacturer. They make excellent lenses that preform exceedingly well, even against leading manufacturers such as: Canon, Nikon, and Sony.

Sensor cleaning – The technician starts by checking the functions of the camera and the lens (if you choose to include a lens).  Before we start cleaning, we take a photo of the sensor to see where the dust and debris on the sensor is (image taken at f/22).  Then the cleaning process starts by externally cleaning the camera body and lens, this way we don’t introduce any new dust or debris.  We then clean the inside of the mirror box, which consists of the mirror box, mirror, focusing screen and sensor.  We print out and provide you with an image of the sense before and after we clean the camera.  If the firmware requires updating, we do that for you as well.

Lens calibration – Photographers sometimes require an extra level of ultra-fine auto focus tuning. Micro adjustment is a feature on newer digital single lens reflex cameras and allows you to fine-tune and register the autofocus position for multiple lens models, then apply that compensation whenever the lens is attached to your DSLR.

Infrared conversion – Rather than adding a filter to the end of the lens, we offer a true IR conversion, which consists of replacing the hot mirror inside the camera with a IR filter of your choice (590nm, 630nm, 720nm, 750nm or 800nm and 850nm).

Classes – Advance Camera also offers classes such as Photo 101, Night Photography, and Landscape photography just to name a few. We have small class sizes for maximum instructor and student interaction and strive to provide a fun group-learning environment. Click on the link to see a full listing of our classes.

One on one instruction – If learning in a group environment is not for you we offer private one on one lessons on a wide range of subjects from photography, post processing, and file management.
