Lightroom is Adobe’s premiere image organizing and editing software, designed specifically for photographers. This is an introductory course designed for students getting started with the program or who have been using it for a while and feel they have gaps in their understanding.
Students will come away with a great foundation in the understanding of file management, workflow, image processing and sharing – all the things needed to get started using Lightroom.
Session I: Program overview, workflow, file management, catalog, backups
Session II: Rating, using keywords, comparing, searching
Session III: Image processing
Session IV: Export, printing, social media sharing
Format: Lessons with hands-on practice in 10 hours of instruction delivered in 4 sessions of 2.5 hours each (short break in each session). Long-time instructor Rebecca Benoit is known for making concepts easy to understand and her patience.
Location: In the same building as Advance Camera in Suite 8126 on the backside of the building.
