Speedlights offer a wide variety of lighting possibilities. They are relatively small, portable tools that you can depend on to create beautiful images.
In this hands-on class, Jayesunn Krump will teach you to use your flash to its fullest potential.
There will be in class demonstrations and projects, along with homework assignments that will help you understand your speedlights and learn how to use them to create the lighting affects that you want.
By using shadow and light creatively, Jayesunn creates unique and striking portraits and he will teach you the techniques he uses to control and direct light to create powerful images.
Topics covered will consist of:
- On and off-camera flash techniques
- Flash modification using: reflectors, snoots, grids, soft boxes, umbrellas, colored gels
- One light, multiple light and backlighting set-ups
- Posing your subject
This flash course is set up in two segments. Each segment is 4 weeks each.
Each segment cost is $150. All 8-weeks is $300.

Class Date: Tuesdays, March 1, 8, 15, and 22
Location: 8126 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. (Same building as Advance, but on the bottom end, in the center location).
Parking: There is plenty of available parking on the bottom end of the building.
